Pure Games effort to develop children who know what it takes to live a principled centered life is crucial to creating leaders of tomorrow.

Support the Leadership Initiative

Our ability to focus on positive values that transfer from the soccer field to the home, school, and neighborhood allows us to focus on the potential leaders who live in the community. We have developed a program that focuses on the development of these leaders and singles them out to receive further specialized leadership training. Children get to understand their strengths and how to utilize them effectively; they also get to understand their weaknesses and how to manage them with the team that is around them. You can help us continue to develop this training material.

Support the Life Skills Training Program

The character education curriculum we use is based on the principle of teaching Success Through Accepting Responsibility your own actions. We use this STAR program to teach the children how they can Stop, Think, Act, and Review every choice and decision they have. Most children do not understand that actions have corresponding consequences, or they at least are unsure how to think these through. This is our major driving force and where we get the best results. You can help by investing into the development of this curriculum and the material we need to deliver it effectively.

  • Write an Encouraging Letter
    An encouraging letter can breathe hope into a child’s life and answer some of life’s toughest questions, like, do I matter? Do I belong? Am I valuable? Does anyone care? At Pure Game we believe all children are gifted and that children deserve the opportunity to explore and discover what they are here for. Sadly most children, due to circumstances outside their control, never get the opportunity to experience the joy of this search.   • Sponsor a Teaching Session
    Most of the Pure Game teaching is done during the water break, while all the kids are gathered together. These relaxed moments in between games, while endorphins are high, provide for great teaching moments. 
  • Become a Sideline Supporter
    The power is in your presence. Lead the way in cheering on a child at one of the many Pure Game events. This provides you the rare opportunity to uplift and motivate a child in person, which quite literally screams to them, “YOU MATTER.”
  • Sponsor a Field
    The soccer field is a great platform to impart many life skills, so we take as many opportunities to draw on the game of soccer to reflect life. You can be a part of this by supplying goals and cones.
