What I love about soccer around the world, is nothing gets in the way from them playing.
During the Rwanda trip in 2012 we trained 3 churches how to use the game of soccer to reach the community. During our stay there we watched a couple of churches already using the sport to give the children a safe place to belong. Nothing gets in the way of them playing, even a water logged, muddy field. Half the field the kids were playing on was covered in mud as you can see in the image. The kids loved playing the game regardless. They got to do something they loved, they prayed, they witnessed, and it was a joy to watch.
