When asked what he likes most about Pure Game, Jesus replies, “I like that everyone gets treated with respect and I love how everybody encourages me even if I miss a pass or a goal.”

This charming 3rd grader has a passion for the game and big dreams of becoming a professional soccer player one day. He enjoys every minute of the program because it brings together his friends and his passion for soccer.

Jesus demonstrates a strong work ethic on the field and that’s a testament to his mother, whom he admires most.   When asked about his mom, he said “She cooks amazing, she's a hard worker and spends a lot of time with me and my siblings helping us with school.”

Pure Game’s dedicated volunteers help Jesus realize his true potential and encourage him to not only pursue his dream of becoming a professional athlete, but also provide the necessary skills to achieve success in any future endeavors. By facilitating a positive environment and fostering meaningful friendships, he is well on his way.  

In the short time Jesus has been in the program he has demonstrated a will to achieve with grace and tenacity and that’s why he’s a Pure Game Rising Star!
