RISING STAR Karen

My name is Karen, I been in the program for 2 months. I like the Field Champions and how everybody gets treated with respect, and I really like the encouragement I hear from everybody.

When I think I’m not capable or good enough to do things everybody in the program is always there to push me and encourage me to be the best person I can be. 

When I grow up I want to be a officer for the marines and have my own platoon. 

The person I admire the most is my mom, when she was young her dad past away and she had to help her mom work and raise her family. My mom is a single mom and works really hard so that my siblings and me will have a better life and succeed in our lives.
