What is National Day of Encouragement?

On 9/13/2011 – The US Senate passed, without amendment, resolution S. RES 264. Designating September 12, 2011, as National Day of Encouragement.

This day acknowledges the importance of encouragement and positive influences in the lives of all people, and urges us as Americans, to encourage others to boost the morale of all Americans.”

Vulnerable children are asking the same questions as the rest of us. “Am I good enough?”… “Do I fit in?”… and “Have I got what it takes?” Sadly, there are few positive resources.

Pure Game created the Encouragement Ball so you can inspire & encourage children to believe in themselves and the possibilities of a better life.

By purchasing and donating an Encouragement Ball, you can be the voice of encouragement that champions the development of a child’s confidence and self-esteem.

When a child demonstrates a positive character behavior on the playing field, they are rewarded by our Field Champions with an Encouragement Ball highlighting the achievement of the trait demonstrated.
