Frequently Asked Questions

Each school is different. Some schools have open programming, so who ever wants to play can do so. Other schools operate a classroom rotation, so we will see every child of a certain grade.

The school has a budget for programs like Pure Game, so the schools pay an annual fee. The students and families pay nothing.

We operate programs in schools and community partner locations across Orange County.

There are many ways to get involved. The easiest method is to write some words of wisdom to your younger self and we will share that with the children. You could volunteer at the schools and become a High-Five Champion, this helps kids feel special and worthy of visitors. Finally you could become financially involved by sponsoring a child or a school.

The thing I like most about the program is that I get to play and have fun with my friends. At the same time I get to see coach Danny teach me things that will help me in life. Things like the meaning of respect and self-control. Respect means to treat others the way you want to be treated and this means I ask others I play with if they are alright after they get tripped.
