ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Tuesday, March 23, 2021) – Pure Game announced today the appointment of David E. Vautrin as Chairman of its Board of Directors after a nominations and elections process that concluded on Monday. Pure Game is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that delivers a sports-based Social Emotional Learning program to kids across Orange County.

“We are pleased and excited that Mr. Vautrin has accepted the position of Board Chairman” said Tony Everett, founder of Pure Game. “Mr. Vautrin joined our Board of Directors in 2019 and has been driving our team to increase our metrics and accountability to help us better serve our community. We are confident that his previous experience in a vast range of board of directors will only help our organization for the better.”

Vautrin has a passion for soccer and was a volunteer youth soccer referee, coach and all-star coach for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) in the local Southern California community.

“I am honored to be elected as the Board Chair for Pure Game,” said Vautrin. “I have been so impressed with how much Pure Game has accomplished over the last 10 years, and more so in this difficult past year. I’m excited by the thought of playing a key role in achieving our mission of creating and delivering programs that improve self-esteem, bolster mental health, increase resiliency, and help combat negative feelings. ​My journey with Pure Game started a few years back as a donor, and as I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the organization, I wanted to get more involved and was nominated to join the already impressive Board of Directors in 2019. Accepting the Chair position this year is a great honor on many levels.
